I encountered the second change program – both a visit specifically to see the program’s structure and speak to the people that were a part of it – but also much later when I had forgotten about the program and seeing a prime example of the value in educating a girl. This was a significant day for many Kenyans, but to most Nairobians – was a scare of what the already bad traffic would be like as security tightened. Together with a dear friend, I decided to explore this magnificent place that is only a 3 hour drive from Nairobi. It serves as a reminder that almost everywhere, beautiful places are only a thought and intention away. 2015

It proved to me an important point, which is that if you search for a story, you will always find one. I happened upon some beautiful fields and then some horses and upon speaking to some of the caretakers, I was invited back the next morning to capture their training. In one of the poorest countries in the world, it was an interesting glimpse of how this King’s sport had taken stage. 2015
